The Creative Minds is a group of Year 5-6 children who work together with a variety of media to create presentations that express their ideas in the forms of both Visual and Digital art. The use of ICT is a prominent focus during our sessions.

Weta Cave By Jayda

On Friday 14th September,  people from  Creative Minds went to the spectacular Weta Cave where some of  movie prompts and costumes are made.We had parent help by Hunters mum, Dylan's parents, Jayda's  grandad and the amazing Mrs Hudson. First we walked around the outside of the Weta Cave and saw some people that actually  work at Weta,then group 3 & 4 went inside and did some riddle activities  while the other groups watched a movie. Some people got to touch one of the prompts in Lord Of The Rings. It was awesome.We had morning tea outside then we went back to school.All of creative mind kids would like to thank the people  help transport us kids to and back to Weta cave and a big Thanks to Miss Slater who planed this trip to Weta.
